And a video to watch as well: https://youtu.be/FuhcTGHEo2Y

As opposed to starting a new thread just going to add my latest NanoStudio2 track here. As I’ve learned over the last few years, each synth presents it own unique challenges and strengths. NS2 is no different. It’s an almost complete solution...just a few more features and it will soar. Anyhoo, over the last couple months…

Thank you sir. That means a lot. Just trying to share my spirit with everyone 🙏🏼💕

Keeping on the horse which is the amazing NS2 this week...testing out only using Obsidian and Slate instruments on this track: https://soundcloud.com/policarpo-wood/figures-and-shapes

@dendy many thanks👊🏼™️

Thanks for the kind words. Had some help today from a little friend. Used the OP-Z to create my ARPS and Chords and then recorded them into multiple instances of Obsidian for this little jam: Video clip: https://youtu.be/raOT6hqcGqY Soundcloud Track: https://soundcloud.com/policarpo-wood/a-session

Many thanks for enjoying it :)

@nyitguy @Stiksi many thanks for giving the album a listen. I've also made it available on most streaming services. You can find the 1-Pager here: https://spark.adobe.com/page/wy4nGmlUV5MPq/

@Zupi Heheh...thanks for giving it a listen. Glad you enjoyed it :)

Many thanks for enjoying it sir. I’ll make the track downloadable on SoundCloud. Just let me know when you’ve grabbed it so i can reset the permissions. 👊🏼™️

Well here’s another little sketch of a track. The goal was to allow myself to get lost in order to find myself in a comfortable place with this app...and well...I’m pretty happy with how i feel with NS2 and how this track feels. FWIW, I’m not missing support for Audio Tracks in the app...I’m just importing some samples…

Happy New Year everyone...had some time with NS2 over the break and really am enjoying it. Here's a little sketch I started yesterday and refined today using Obsidian and a few custom GrooveBox samples imported to Slate for some additional drum and synth textures: https://soundcloud.com/policarpo-wood/there-was-a-moment

If only we could record it directly in NS2 instead of hosting Rozeta elsewhere to record 😞 soon i hope 🙏🏼💕
-
Very kind words @nkdvkng and loving your beats. FWIW, i can already hear some tasty rhymes over a bunch of your work....on Gangsta i hear stuff like, “So you tell me you love the way... The way to do these things...’to cherish To relish To flourish’and I believe Believe in you My flower My power You make me wanna step into…

I’m just gonna leave this here to be appreciated: https://youtu.be/jVhlJNJopOQ

Looks like it’s time to get on this horse. 🤪 Here’s a ‘first track’ exploration that is 100% native NS2. There’s a lot to love with this app...glad we’re all able to benefit from it. https://soundcloud.com/policarpo-wood/transfer-model

Yep tried this last night. Seems that SPA isn’t detecting any notes being played by KB1 or the internal keyboard. It’s just silent. Very odd. I hope the whole midiFX note recording path gets resolved soon. Using AB3 to host midiFX is a workflow option but not condusive to creative flow imho.

I for one love a good toggle in a roll. Yes please.

Yeah. This app is gold. It’s actually making me love the linear timeline workflow of creating tracks...and i just love working in Ableton and BM3. For the price it’s a steal in my opinion. Obsidian is just amazing sounding. Lots to love in this app. Going to be cool seeing it evolve and grow but as a 2.0 new release…

Sure thing. Here you go: Audiobus preset 'nanoStudio 2 Setup': http://preset.audiob.us/X5ynnC9JvMN1GA3

FWIW spent 20 or so minutes this morning getting an AB template setup to drive NS2 and insure that i can capture midi notes. This will work for now...but i really can’t wait for internal recording to become available in the app...it will help with creative flow and happy accidents on a daily basis.

FWIW, @"Blip Interactive" i ran a quick comparison test between BM3 and NS2. I had four instances of Aparillo running in BM3, the same in NS2, plus 2 instances of Obsidian. After about twenty minutes of playing and editing and sequencing BM3, it had a hard crash and i lost everything. I then opened NS2 and performed…

FWIW, it works just fine with AB3 that is shipping. I had to use MIDI flowAdapter to get the Midi signal out of AB into NS2 in order to record the MIDI data in NS2...a few hoops...but not much different than current workflow of modstep. Just wish it worked from AUM as I find the routing a lot more elegant and enjoyable to…

I don't think it will let you record the incoming Midi as of now...shame...cause it's a really nice workflow...
