Will and Stiksi thanks for your support and wisdom guys. π

Got a reply back from Abelton and seems like all good on the Live 11....2021 is looking exciting times ahead, new things to learn, new projects to create. Thank you everyone at NS 2 can't tell you what this has done for my mental health.πππ
-
Mmm now you mention it not sure I am eligible I'll check.
-
Stiksi thanks for the real world perspective on the Push2 and answers some questions for me too. I've not really got my head around clip view being a bit old school. But after my initiation with iOS apps I'm starting to get it. I've just picked up the deal on Live 10 upgrade having the 9 Suite so future learn curving toβ¦

Think that's going to be my choice too....tempted by upgrading to 10 while the deal is on. Do you have a Push 2 out of curiosity, interested in your impression if you have one. Thanks man
-
Thanks Stiksi I'm finding I'm using the stock EQ more and more now getting my head around it. Like TB I have the reverb and Dual VCF now, waiting for Black Friday to add to them. Can I ask what your mixing strategy is....many thanks.
-
I'm going to try that as well Stiksi. I've learned so much from guys here on the NS2 forum about production and still not scratched what NS2 can do. Loving my journey and creating thank you everyone here.

TA that is sooooo helpful and really appreciate your detailed reaponse. Right to the NS2 cave to experiment. ππ

It's a bizarre thing I bought another synth searching for a sound last night. I mean GAS I had for years but now I'm in this AAS does that sound wrongπ€£
-
Traclklane that's unlocked another door TA muchas gracias.

Mr Bob my needs are mixing and arrangements I've completely changed my recording and musical tastes and discovering various sub genres of EDM. I'm a Groover in his early sixties and man I can't tell you how stimulating NS2 and iOS is but obviously there's a learning curve.
-
TA I have Multitrack and that didn't register with me to do it that way. What an excellent tip for the community. Thank you Sir for your speedy response π
-
Strange times Will but because of Covid I have now gone down the ipad music apps wormhole. So in for the ride. Keep Safe
-
I'm trying to get in the habit of taking notes in each project as a memory jog too. It doesn't help that I'm learning iOS as I go having only had the iPad a few months. Becoming a convert though...
-
I have AUM Will I'll try that lol man if you were around the corner I'd be knocking on the door to watch your flow. Thank you for the help π

@Trigger_the_Monkey said: No doubt I'll be back with more questions as they arise. Just need to get the Midi Tools: Route to work now to get Rozeta Bassline to record. Thanks again NS2 friends.
-
TtM again thanks man for taking the time to respond with genuinely useful information and for others that read this. At the moment with the limited time I have I am trying to use a project as a learning tool, experimenting, that opens a new door to look into to explore. Maybe before too long I'll have a flow going on toβ¦

Dendy what a revelation I'm just going to dive in and start experimenting. I thank you for sharing your skills. π
-
Will can't thank you enough for sharing this valueable knowledge. I'm from a guitar/bass player background and not new to recording but am new to ios and all the amazing apps. My current project I'm using to learn NS2 and StepPolyArp and acquiring production techniques along the way. What you've described makes sense nowβ¦

TtM could you elaborate on multi track lanes to create polyrhythmic automation. Are you able to point me to a tutorial. Much appreciate your tips thanks man
