Good to see this forum regaing consciousness

Soothing. I’d rather imagine taking a break stepping outside the gravy train into the night. There’s a certain reminiscence of the past in it, strangely, maybe R. Strauss … Why not proceed however (with your talent) from here evermore into the future ;) ? (Digging the nice screechy sound of the wheels on the rails/tracks…

Nice one, @TSTRDoug (: may I point out to you the significance of tempo & tim sig. marks you can set in track-view to speed/slow not only the nanostudio project, but the Link-wide time/tempo f.e. in an Audiobus and/or Aum session even over multiple (bluetooth-MIDI-connected) devices ... variable time manipulation of…

Link start/stop in Aum+Audiobus: we've got a Link-wide global/multidevice automatable synchronous timeline now. Wowie Zowie, next dimension sequencing ... thanks @ Matt (:

Thanks, @dendy for your explanation! (the above and below comments are to be thought of as compliments : ) As it is with unmapped territory in nanostudioworld exploring, the categories in addition to subfolders are most useful, and the marking is done properly here by you, and, you know, as the description of an item of…

Let the creativity flow :) Big Thanks & Best Wishes ! P.s.: the scrolling through the user preset list seems like strolling through a RPG multitopian village by now ...

Cool pro production process ;) When is the new pack to be released? Liking the variety of your sounds, cheers :)

Nice one!

@drcongo hi, it looks like the glitch clip app doesn't advertise its virtual port, it should be visible in the MIDI out section of NS2 (maybe ping the dev about that). As you own MidiFlow now, you could try to create a virtual MIDI input source (instead of Network Session 1) there, which surely will appear in NS2 MIDI out…

https://vimeo.com/video/435525658 Abstract: I'm proposing an old/new multitimbral way of setting up multiple ios devices and hardware. Embedded in audiobus3, Aum&NanoStudio2 are the MIDI-Brains in this kind of neural network simulation. The connection is by way of bluetooth and USB-MIDI, all participating devices are…

Wow, fine sounds! Thank you @LeeB :)

Thank you, @dendy

Funfact, the implementation's that well done that it's even playable on a fairly broken iphone's display here ;)

Hosting Aum and Ns2 in audiobus3 for syncing, and start/stop etc.
-
@BobDC ,seems like did you 'tap' on the midi input and output to 'select' (app and keyboard) ?
-
Yes, @dendy sure, in this case, however, it's precisely about having all tracks receiving notes from outside. The thing is: recording only one selected track of the whole bunch of active tracks, (while it certainly should be this way, for recording the all-out performance). Solo-ing a track results in a dilemma, for all…
-
A special usecase here, sequencing Nanostudio from outside with a lot of tracks armed. To record MIDI in a loop on a single track, it would be cool to have the option of selecting only one, the actual (highlighted) track, to be recording, while others would continue to be active/playing. (The workaround now is to delete…

... and an iPhone4s, yeah. In principle you can even extend it. Like in quantum teleportation. Cheers @drez :) @Will For the BCR to receive the directed CC's I activate MIDI Thru on the MIDI Input in MidiDesigner Pro, with a duplicate surface template for two consecutive pages on the BCR, and send the MDP Virtual MIDI…

@Will, @drez https://vimeo.com/355181009 thank you , friendly regards

D. @Will, yes, it's true!, spooky action at a distance, not for nothing did he name it Quantum ... Thanks for the link to the quick start manual, with the nth loop trigger option. The per step ornamentation (trills!) I'm planning to try out more now I've fit in the BSP. The setting all up took a long time, literally years;…

The way for setting it up with [aum] and [audiobus] is to put [ns2] in the input and [aum] in the output slots, then nanostudio receives global start/stop signal. (In [aum] add the [ab iaa source]).

'I made this on a ipad' : )* * +1

@SWriverstone What you can do now, is running Synth One in the Input slot (top) in AudioBus, side by side with Nanostudio as Input (next row, top) also. Yes, use an External MIDI Track in Nanostudio (MIDI Output icon is on top of the track there), to play and record notes from the track's keyboard. Explore the Audiokit…

Yes, thinking along this, I could imagine a 'meta - song-mode', where these song sections would have properties like 'loop that for a minute' and then 'commence to that part', 'restart', etc. ... A sort of 'actions' menu like the one in quantum, for the empty 'master-track' ;)

Could the 'Panic' button be MIDI-learnable, maybe? I heard, the transport control elements are considered to get, too, in the next update?

Thanks & congrats :)
