Pleased to see that it isn't just a problem exclusive to me (pleased?) But it's certainly a right drag because I had six great pieces that were coming on just fine, now it's back to just a couple. But that said, NS2 works really well in iPadOS 13.

Beautiful music @LeeB !

Not all great. Sugarbytes' Factory is giving me grief now I've updated to iOS13/iPadOS. Anyone else with Factory having problems?
-
@anickt in a similar way to how Apple Numbers/Excel works? ie, write a name, say 'conga', then each and every time you start a writing a word starting with the letter 'c', 'conga' appears in a list? It's a really good idea, although I think you'd only want it to apply for individual projects, and not every project you've…

Matt will be chuffed to hear this. :)

Er. No. It's most certainly a ukulele!
-
My brother has the world's only purpose-built microtonal ukulele!

I really don't know what the fuss is all about concerning Model 15 either. Moog were obviously thinking 'Now if we make it look like a Moog, we'll trick everyone into thinking that it even sounds like one!'. It doesn't. At least to my ears. I have a friend who owns an actual original 3C and the 15 sounds nothing like a 3C,…

I don't get this freezing thing. Sure, back in the day when we were rolling with IBM G3 PPC chips and P2's with MMX technology, and possibly wherever ARM was in the iPad 1 (A4?), freezing made total sense. But now with super efficient Obsidian what is the actual point? Or am I missing something.

@pbelgium Wow that's awesome. Like Jimi Hendrix on NS2! (Sort of!)
-
I think that's a pretty nice little app, even if it does only work with external HW. I once sampled the solid bass preset from my old DX-27 and it took an absolute age. This would have really helped. Being able to record from internal apps would be way better though. Anyway yes. WWS. :)

Caustic never ceases to amaze me. It's worth the (incredibly cheap) price alone just for its sample editor. Then it also has that mad SN76477 space invader chip emulator built in too. Instant 8-bit wonderland!

Some great funk coming out of this mean machine. Keep up the good work!

Try and get a cheap iPad Pro 2017 if you can. That's my advice. These still have a headphone port and they can be snapped up, at least the 64gb ones can (mine!) fairly cheap at the moment. I'm also in the UK btw. I got mine from Cash Generator!

@palm I don't want to go too much into detail at this stage regarding NS and microtonal support (It's an enormous area, and I have work elsewhere to do). But, and it's a shame you don't have FB, because all this would make so much sense, using colours of the rainbow to present notes on a keyboard would also be my preferred…

Why? I really dislike Reaper! I'm an iOS musician, and a Logic user. Not a Reaper user. I'm not the developer of NS either. The last thing on earth I want is for NS2 to end up looking like Reaper, which in my mind is a complete mess. Put simply NS2 should hopefully one day accept both TUN and SCL files, and depending which…

Well that's a great shame because all those you need to talk with on this subject are all there. This is quite an interesting thread on the Audulus forum (If you own a copy of Audulus?): https://forum.audulus.com/t/alternate-tuning-techniques/1651/2

Disagree. NS is insanely deep. Ultimately you'd need Master Blip's mind, which of course is impossible. The learning curve on this thing is STEEP! But the workflow has been oiled thoughly and covered in the same material that coats a Teflon frying pan... ie you whizz around it at lightning speed, often forgetting to look…

This thread is quite useful: https://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=172759

Sorry, I can't help you there, because I don't use Reaper. However if you join the FB Xenharmonic Alliance, they're mainly Reaper users, and they're all very friendly/willing to help out.
-
Oooh. What Will said ^^^. I've got KRFT. It's already quite fun!
-
BTW, have you seen Henry Lowengrad's new xenharmonic offering? It's really quite something. And there is also one of my xenharmonic favourites too, Shoom.
-
@palm What @Cinebient said essentially. But I disagree strongly with Cine in terms of not caring about the piano-roll, simply because we'll then be in the same situation that we are now in regards to both audio tracks as well as a sustain pedal input- ie NS2 will attract a good crowd from say the Xenharmonic Alliance, who…

FFS. Now I'm being bombarded with ads for books about fonts on ShitFace.

I am now convinced you @Will must be Moss from 'The IT Crowd's double! Moss is cool. We like Moss. Helvetica is okay, but it can get a bit boring when used in apps- like Arial is I suppose. Actually I like Futura and Gill Sans. Especially Gill Sans because it's the closest one will ever get to the original London…

Oh no. Here goes my wallet... Again!

And for all those who've never heard this.... This is really something! I always loved NanoStudio 1 because Eden essentially was a wavetable synth, and was the nearest that anything on iOS would ever come to my favourite ever digital polysynth, the Waldorf Blofeld. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=PXvQs4Nq06c

Straight off the press! Part two! Along with Jakob, Doug and Tim, this guy looks like he'll become my next Patreon! https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=R-b0mEdEfFk

I had completely forgotten how good a noise maker Elsa is! But yes, i can also confirm this isnt working in NS. However i can also confirm that Elsa isnt working in Cubasis either when mixed down. Better drop Erik a line.
