@johnrob66 sorry, one more thing: Also many of adapters “type-c / usb-2-out”, “type-c/ usb-2-in”, “type-c / 3,5 audio” - many of them has a cheap price, but aren’t work. It is because many Android devices have the type-c, but use another scheme. This kind of wires/adapters will not gives you charge/sound/connection. Keep…

@johnrob66 I plan to buy next things for my iPad Pro: This one: Http . . www.belkin.com/uk/p/P-F7U080/ Or this one: Http . . satechi.net/products/type-c-to-3-5mm-audio-headphone-jack-adapter Sorry, but I haven’t any of them at the moment, but I plan to buy one in the second part of the month. I want to notice you, I…

I agree. I bought 12’9 3rd gen for myself and it is the pain. Then I bought the latest model of the Air (2019) for my wife and it is great! It has an audio jack, it is better with the battery. My Pro drains battery like hell. This usb-c... it is ok, but removing 3,5 jack is crazy *** bad idea. No way why Apple did it. btw…

The most important thing I learned in life - If you want, then you do. If you don't want - you are "waiting" :) The sea of plug-ins, DAWs, and virtual synths made us too lazy. I remember the times when all my DAW was the guitar and portable tape recorder with built in microphone. I was the happiest man on the Earth, when I…
-
> It is clear. I am sure, the development of DAW with sound tracks (interface and sound-tracks workflow) - is the huge goal. Looking on NS2 interface, how it polished, I know - it's worth the wait.

So emotional... What is the problem to ask? Many new NS2 buyers one day face the inability to work with the audio tracks. It's a perfectly normal question, especially after you see it's a development priority. People love NS2, no one sees information about what's going on, so they ask. Their questions are just signals to…

Yes, cool! this trick opens doors for a bunch of crazy things =)
-
And use one same MT project on every track? But solo one of MultiTrack mix channels? You mean that way? EDIT: It is doesn't matter I guess. Because I can create 2 or 3 MT projects and use them

It is just the my strongest skill: "everything is wrong" B) Cool explanation @dendy! Thanks for the file and screenshots! Now sample sounds more smooth. Also as I can see, you used 8 voices polyphony for Obsidian instead of one voice (as I did on start), with pads samples it gives more smooth result. I need to play more…
-
Cool, thanks! because I have no stereo on the Obsidian out :) I suppose there is the problem in recording start position, something is wrong happens between AudioBus and NS2 when record. I need to play more with recording from AB to NS.
-
Thanks, I will send, but I am not sure it is good idea, because looks like I did something wrong. Looks like SampleStart curve has wrong speed. EDIT: "click" - I mean some kind of small repeating or twice playing some part of sample. It is more correct.
-
@dendy Thanks! Nice one! Some kind of granular synthesis. A lot of combination can be used there - for example same notes with small time-offset on another lane. (I am just guessing, have no tests) Let me ask, when I use in Obsidian my recorded from Thor pads wav-file, there are small tiny click, or "restart" sound. Is…
-
By the way I have the question: what is the pros and cons of using the Obsidian as “wav” player? I found it can record from Audio-bus and it is cool. I successfully recorded audio from Thor synth driven by midi from NS2. I am impressed. How many “wav” files loaded in Obsidian instances I can use for one song? Does Obsidian…

@Stiksi I found how to do that in another theme on this forum. Files app can access NS2 data and this is the way. Then I can drag-and-drop files between the pool and NS2 folders.
-
@Stiksi thank you very much. It sounds cool and needs to play with. I just bought my new iPad Pro, and not sure how to drag-and-drop or move files between apps. For example, I can’t drag and drop file from Files app to Cubasis 2 tracks, but I can do it between Files and MultiTrack audio-pool. Still learning new features.…

Thank you for the interesting workaround, and the cool trick "tape" effect :) I found some workaround too - I bough the MultiTrack AUv3 plug-in, and it helps me a lot. Sad but I can't record guitars or vocals `directly in NS2, but anyway this is the working solution. I don't care about "stretching", or editing with huge…

Hello, no I didn't.. I heard something about it, but never tried. Thanks for hint I will read about it. p.s. I had tried 6 or 7 editors but no way. Let's look at what is Luma Fusion. Screenshots look promising: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/lumafusion/id1062022008

I’m being a bit pedantic, I know, but it’s not an SSD, it’s a flash drive. It’s not as slow as it was a couple generations back (sub USB 2.0) and what you said about its speed is true, but it’s nowhere near SSD speeds. It’s one of the worst bottlenecks on the iPad concerning video editing for example. Thank you for the…

@SlapHappy said: Can these things be done in Slate with Audio Clips? I don’t feel limited by the lack of traditional Audio Tracks, so I am wondering what we will gain with the Audio Tracks that will be above and beyond what we can do with Audio Clips. I’m guessing there is some demand for Punch In Audio Editing (trim a bum…

(sorry posted by mistake, still edited)

Thats why (my opinion, nobody else, not saying that this iswhat everyone should think) choosing iPhone instead of audio tracks as a priority is huge mistake for Blip, the only truly unique feature of NS2 is its routing and bussing in a linear DAW workflow, in IOS, it is very much Reaper but without audio tracks, the…
-
Thanks for the question. In my own opinion, NS2 is the most useful iOS DAW. 1. The most strong its side - you can just make music on the go, without wandering in complex GUI. Because NS2 GUI is good and made for musicians. Just shortest way from idea to sound. 2. NS2 synth Obsidan and sampler Slate - they are huge! They…
-
glad to hear, hope it's going good.
-
I guess I understand how complicated this task is. But I hope it is not huge because NS2 already has a sampler engine (Slate). It is not about the flexible audio editor. More features mean more bugs. It needs just basic operations: record, cut, trim, normalise. The most important thing is import tracks for background, and…

I thought I had read a thread where the developer had stated Audio Tracks by summer (I could be wrong) in any case summer is almost gone. Hopefully we get audiotracks soon. Yes, I thought too. Also on the main page of Blipinteractive there few words about the high priority of audio tracks: I want to know some progress…

Thank you for the workaround! It is much better then automation! Thanks!

I feel like I am back to forgotten home now. This application is just amazing! It has excellent Synth with everything kind of synthesis engines I need. It has a sampler and all set of FX I need. I am so glad to work with this interface. Everything is lightning fast. I am a songwriter, and I missed audio tracks in NS2, but…
