One thing I forgot: PLEASE DON’T do subscriptions. I hate those. It would ruin the whole app for me. I don’t mind paying for updates, or add-ons, but to pay monthly for an app I already paid for is beyond irritating. That’s just my thinking. Now, if you have a way to perhaps make a deal with Loopmasters to release some…

Hey Matt, no worries. Just glad to have an update. Also, I would suggest you put audio tracks as a paid DLC, if the financials just aren’t there. I’d pay for them. I’m sorry this app isn’t selling as well as its predecessor. It’s amazing. However, lack of audio tracks keeps me going back to GarageBand for guitar recording.…

Any news on audio tracks? That’s the only thing that has driven me back to GarageBand. And I do know about the sampler. I just like recording into audio tracks, I’ve found.
-
@cray23 am quite jealous of the sound quality you got from this track. Well done. Kind of mixing the old acid house style with dub beat skips and drops. Especially impressed with the pitch synced to the kicks on the rising breaks. Excellent work.

Thanks, Jeppan!

Thank you, Cray!

Really nice r&b sound to this track. Awesome job.

Hello. What an interesting new development. We have a comment about it:…

Thank you, Dendy.

NS2 doesn’t have all the features in the world. It does have some of the best CPU economy, workflow, synth shaping, and overall playability available anywhere. I don’t talk about things in terms of journeys, but NS2 was realeased while I was actually on a trip to Europe. Made several things in that trip. It’s so easy to…

Hey @3sleeves I wanted you to know: The reason I haven’t been around much is because I got a Korg Microsampler and I’ve been messing with that more than anything else. I ran across some of your YouTube videos. Excellent tips and tricks! I love the MS1! I’m going to use it in connection with Nanostudio2 when the iPhone…
-
@pbelgium that’s cool! Awesome to hear live recorded guitar in NS2. And the synths sound like something I would use! Nice playing, too!
-
Still top on my list is a OP-1-style tape section. That’s the only additional feature I really care about. Audio tracks are already coming down the pipeline. Yeah, that’s it for me.
-
@dendy those chords. That bass! The modulated panning on that riser synth! THE MIX! Holy monkey. That might be the best thing I’ve heard here. And I’m including the tracks from @drez and @LeeB in my assessment. My fingers are thumbs and they are pointed toward the sky!

Ha! It’s funny you say that! Most of my time in the mixer section was spent in complete confusion. Nothing was matching up. I finally just started adding limiters and eq to everything until it sounded passable. The end result was a pleasant surprise. Don’t envy me for my “skills.” This track sounding like anything other…

Thank you, @Audiogus! I have to admit: even as I was making it, I wasn't sure I liked it. But it was interesting enough that I went through with it. Nice to find that others are enjoying it. Thanks again!
-
@richardyot great job with your drum mix! They aren’t “up front” in your mix, but they never get lost, either; not even when they are behind your singing. That’s not easy to accomplish. Really good work!
-
Thank you, @drez! Very kind!

The only thing that keeps me in bed all day with an iPad and NS2 is the fact that only my wife has an iPad that can run it. My iPad is an iPad3. Too old. So I’m limited in my time with NS2. When the iPhone version comes out, I may not survive.

Here’s a recent thing from me. I used my weird Living Room Kit, as well as the 3sleeves Boom Pap kit. It’s weird, like most of my stuff, ....but it’s mine. 😀 @3sleeves cool kit, by the way. Thanks for putting it up! https://soundcloud.com/kleptolia/longtime

@Devvy that pumped bass sound reminds me of the opening song in Phantom of the Opera. That's a compliment, by the way. I'm not being snarky. Cool use of those sounds.
-
@Cray23 that was a fun listen. nice job! @CitizenX took me back to 1991. Cool synths, and nice use of Spacecraft. That arp adds a lot to the background.
-
@LeeB I think your tracks are basically club/mastering-ready. Really impressive frequency control on each and every one. Your eq (I think I've said it before) is always spot on. Weapons grade production levels. My hands are all thumbs, and they are up.
-
@UncleBen Cool track. Your reverb space sounds very Eastern European. A lot of bouncing artifacts up high. This sounds a bit like some tracks I've heard from Sun Vox users. Very pretty and thoughtful. Good work.
-
@3sleeves love that Felix the Cat "SelfDiagnostic" track. Nice chill/funk sounds. The Felix animations you chose were perfect for the tune.
-
@3sleeves nice job. Very “street solitude” in it’s sound. I like the live performance on the keyboard and mixer, too. Makes it interesting.
-
@IanSainsbury 👍! That was really cool. I like what you did with the oil can samples in the living room kit. And those synth patches sound good with it. @anickt thank you. I’m glad they work for you! I’ll check yours out, when I can pry the iPad away from my wife. @dendy thanks, man. If there is anything I can do to…
-
Does anybody have any comments or suggestions on the patches I uploaded? Are they useable? Are they interesting? Are they garbage? I just want to know what I can do to make stuff that is useful.

Man, Nanosync was so great! Bulk file import all day! That was such a timesaver. I still miss it.
