Matt, seriously this app is very good. Many users will attest to that. So, if the volume of sales is not high enough to enable an acceptable living, please please look at alternative routes and don’t let the code and project die. Kickstarter? Go fund me? Sale of code and IP to another developer? Why not mail your users and…

I check this forum every few months to see whether there are any updates, there never are. But it bugs me that this one single simple thing to correct the title of this thread isn’t even done. Makes me think no one in authority even visits here. Yes nanostudio 2 is good, but the ios music community moves on. Everything…
-
Hi, I see the title of this thread is 2.2.1 available but the best I can find in the App Store is 2.1.1. Am I missing something?
-
I have to say....Very very good. Added to my library and will be playing it a lot. It’s the best iPad recorded music i personally have ever heard. 10/10.
-
Thanks for the help, I’ll look into that hub!
-
Just googled the drangonfly. I was hoping for a dongle that had usb c charging, audio and midi/in out. Maybe doesn’t exist! Thanks.
-
12.9” screen is the thing drawing me in!
-
This is fanboy talk! I guess that’s where we are still at with iOS music apps, it’s not a fully fledged business yet. I get it, but I’ve been in software development most of my life and and this is not how it works usually. Peace. Let’s just wait and play with what we have for our money, we knew what we were buying! I’m…

@dendy @Stiksi thank you and I believe you 100%. I do think though that Matt should make a comment on future development to his loyal customers. Engaging with audiences is always best!
-
@dendy i think it would be fair for everyone on here who wishes for this feature (which I believe is a lot) to get an honest timeframe of what date audio tracks are planned for. Dates can change, but I understand software developers and they do work to timeframes, otherwise chaos reigns. So is this currently planned for q1…
-
@dendy thank you that explains it. It’s too complicated to be worth it I think, which is a shame.
-
@dendy I just want to play and record within the NS2 environment, but use Europa as the instrument. It needs to be available to mix down as final song.
-
I know ns2 doesn’t have inter-app audio, but can I record reason compact/Europa in ns2 as midi? If not, what’s the best or only way to record this? Works well in Cubasis. Thanks.
-
Well they were set on their own closed system daw on Mac and pc prior to this release. Now any daw can use their full suite of instruments and effects. They are cool because of the way they can all be connected any which way by virtual cables. They have opened up to a new audience (though price seems high). If iOS pro…

Good idea dendy. What about when au gets updated? Will it overwrite any presets you’ve added tags too?
-
Ah yes I see. Almost perfect, except if all you want is to tag a factory au preset you end up with duplicates in the factory and user banks.
-
Actually I meant the NS2 Tag attribute list - this is what doesn't work for AU's. had to look at manual to find the correct term!
-
Perfect, thanks!
-
Could one for the mods change the category to feature request please? I think adding a zero velocity to pad option should easy to implement but let’s see what Matt thinks!
-
Incidentally, D1, Fm player 2 and poison 202 are the ones I have that do work. Sunrizer doesn’t.
-
Yes that is something. Zero velocity option would be better! Easy addition for future update?
-
My bad - the 1,01 notes do in fact say a total of 9 patches. So it all worked out. Thanks for your hard work and contribution to ns2 and the forum.
-
This was for the neutronium bank.
-
Ah thank you. I’ve done this - it imported 9 patches. Just checking this is correct as within the zip file there are several folders (not sure if each folder is a patch or each file within a folder is a patch). Thanks again.
-
How do I import these into ns2 please? Downloading the file saves it to my iCloud. Import patches in obsidian brings up Dropbox. Am I missing someht8ng? Thanks for your help!
-
Thanks dendy. Would I be able to route the audio from Cubasis into ns2 as well and record there?
-
Thanks, so most likely this is the au not working correctly? From the ns manual it does say if an au has factory presets you can select them from the patch browser.
-
Digital d1 half works - nanostudio can identify and move up/down the preset list, but the synth does not load the selection. You have to use the synth built in preset browser.
-
I’ve noticed that some au’s eg poison-202 allow the built in patch buttons to work perfectly, and some don’t work at all eg Sunrizer. Is this something that is specific to nanostudio or is it part of the auv3 spec? It’s extremely handy, wish it would work for all. Thanks.
