@tortuga You can also use a virtual midi keyboard/controller outside of NanoStudio to record notes inside Nanostudio, you don’t just have to use the built in keyboard. I usually use animoog, touchscaper or chordion personally.

So the newest ipad air has really high single core bench marks but only 4 gb of ram compared to the latest ipad pro which has something like 3/4 of the processing but 2 gb more ram. Isn’t the processor far more important when using mainly auv3 plugins when you want to use as many as you can without crackling? Is ram less…

Hmm this is an interesting thing to think about. Anyone with the knowledge care to chime in here?
-
Thanks for the response. I saw your reply to someone else in the AB thread. Im also on ios 13 but definitely not going to update just for that app. I am curious though if this is an issue on NS2 side or Audiokit. Guess it doesnt matter much either way.
-
Nice try haha.
-
+1 👍🏻
-
Yes please.
-
Awesome! Thanks so much.
-
I guess but it doesn’t really do anything Model 15 doesn’t do except take up less processing power. In fact with Model 15 you can dial in 4 filters and the delay as an effect.

I would love to see something unique like animoog also but i remember reading somewhere that Animoog was contracted out to a programmer (i think the guy who did Nave or Nlog) and I think thats why it doesnt receive any substantial updates so Hopefully at least they will port one of their hardware synths. I do feel like…

As far as the person's first question, why set to sustain? You can set as One Shot in slate and move decay to infinity since it defaults as less than infinity. This is what I do for most of my audio files.
-
Yes you can record directly into a Slate pad (the drum sampler like the trg) or a sampler oscillator on Obsidian (the synth/sampler like Eden). There are no audio tracks yet so you will have to trigger the recorded audio through the midi sequencer the same way as NS1. Audio tracks should be on the way sometime in the…

My friend has had them since around the same time and they cracked within the first year. I think he just used glue on them and is extra careful with them now. I really love those headphones. Super bummed I didn’t pick them up when i had the chance.
-
I should have picked up the Focal Spirit Pros when they were $199. I didn’t realize they were being discontinued. Have you done any testing on their successors, the Focal Listen Pros? Im curious about mixing on those.

My suggestion is to go for the tried and true Sony MDR-7506 Pro. They have been an industry standard for tracking for decades. They are used in tons of studios and radio stations across the world. They are durable and sound good and still cost around $100 usd. Mine have lasted 4 years and are still going strong. There are…

Awesome video on the subject here that compares different tunings. https://youtu.be/ghUs-84NAAU

The auv3 versions dont send midi as far as i know.
-
Which apps in particular?
-
Awesome. Thanks dendy.

I am actually specifically curious if Samplr works as an IAA input into Audioshare. Same for Sunrizer (i know it is an auv3 but it was having weird clicks at the beginning of each midi note as auv3 so i have been recording it as IAA) also curious about Animoog, Moebius Lab and TC-11. I know some developers have released…
-
Yes it was about IAA in general. Thank you.
-
What about Interapp audio without audiobus? Does it work still? How is Animoog?
-
I am also curious about this. Also does IAA work on Ipados 13.1? Animoog? Samplr?
-
Hmm. I do own it but i havent used it in so many years. I seem to remember it was a pain for me to record into it on time or something. I will have to go revisit it i guess. Thanks.
-
Nice! Thanks. Ive been using Samplr a lot lately again and i think those two will work perfectly in conjunction with each other. Easy time stretching is a game changer. I have so many old loops sitting in my audioshare.
-
Interesting. Thanks for the input. Anyone else have experience with this app?
-
@drez yes conjecture. Any reply about audiotracks at this point from other than the developer is a moot point and definitely conjecture when it is obvious speculation and the timeline keeps getting pushed vack from people who aren’t writing the code. Also i would suggest you actually read my original post before you…
-
So are you just going around trolling ns2 threads now or what?
-
I don’t think my post was a “lame repetitive lament” in fact i feel that it was an insightful question about the difficulties in adding audiotracks regarding the way ns2 actually implements playback speed currently. Yes the title reflects the fact that i am worried about whether it is possible to implement audio tracks in…

Time stretching is the solution? Can you elaborate? If it is like time stretching that i familiar with then there is a degradation of audio quality. Is this what you mean?
