You can always print out all individual tracks and bring them into Ableton, there's nothing wrong with that. As for me, I use a hardware mixing console.

Oh dear! Thanks for passing this on. I really appreciate it.

So good to see you again friend <3

This sounds fun - especially because the last competition had me on my toes bigtime working deadlines I never had before. I need shit like that to thrive - I realise that now. The last competition spawned 80% of my album.. insanity. I'm settling into a crazy recording schedule come monday.. but I would be interested. Don't…

I've just come over from Android back to Apple (with an iPad) because of the lack of Audio creation tools on Android. I'm not the NS dev, and I don't want to speak on his behalf, however I personally doubt it will show on Android. NS1 never did, you may be thinking of Caustic. From what I understand it's actually harder to…

No Problem! The one thing I forgot there was that obviously all of your Slate instances will need to be using the same drumkit, so once you're done getting your stuff together and you're ready to split, save your kit as a preset. It's a pain in the arse at first to duplicate tracks and patterns, but the more you do it, the…

I do this all the time, and it's a little tedious, but once you get the hang of it, you will get really quick at it. Make your loop as normal, and when you're satisfied with it, add as many instances of slate as you need (if your drumkit is using 8 sounds, then 8 instances) and then copy your pattern and drag it to each…

I know this is an old thread, so apologies for bumping it out of the grave. You actually can do this, the pads use notes as you said, not MIDI messages. You can't change them on the hardware side, but you can in the software. I've mapped them all out and written it down, so I may as well share :) Works fine on my LaunchKey…
