Project shortcuts

I use NS2 for live performance. It would be a massive help to be able to be able to make shortcuts to projects in folders. That way set lists could be built inside individual folders, with the shortcuts opening the original project. A workaround is to copy the project into a folder, but this of course uses up more storage space on the iPad. A shortcut would use less than 1k of space (just as many bytes as the path requires, plus potentially the block size for files on the iOS filesystem). It would also mean that changes to the original project file would be reflected in all of the set list folders.

just small info - until you use just "save" and "save as" for project (so you don't use "archive"), project files are actually pretty small - they do not contains any samples, samples are linked just with relative paths to their library location .. Project file without samples is really tiny tiny small :)

Only after you perform "Archive", all used samples are bundled together with project file ..

Ah that’s good to know. Copying into subfolders by way of a set list is doable then, as it won’t take up too much more data. Shortcuts would still be nice, but it’s unlikely a live track is going to change significantly and require re-copying. Thanks dude!
