The problem I have with keeping things in ReSlice is you can’t rearrange the slices or assign notes to them. It’s not very practical to have to rearrange midi tracks to play the kit sounds you need. So import to Slate or Obsidian is still needed in most cases for me.

I think of ReSlice as a separate instrument that is also really convenient for exporting to other apps. 👍

I sometimes think of it as a really fun utility :)

  • ReSlice is great for experimenting and happy accidents but I’ve never used it in a more traditional way. Will check it out for the uses people have been talking about.

I wouldn’t have thought an internal slicing function was hard to add (comparatively, in the grand scheme of things ;). Hopefully Matt’ll throw it in there at some point. Slate has potential but I imagine Matt has a long list and not sure where he’ll put the sampler stuff among priorities..

Will be interesting to see at what kinda pace updates and new features appear and what features are IAP.

    Good to know, thanks.

Can't believe that Canadian Gus Dude hasn't made a little video showcasing the twins in action...

I think my little experiment on the tubes of you is over. As for NS2/BM3 I think it is being replaced (probably only temporarily) by NS2/laptop over the holidays.

  • @Audiogus which daw do you use on laptop ?

Perfect. Get loaded and fat. Fall out with the in-laws, fire up the cameras, unburden yourself etc etc.
