How would Slate know which sample should go onto which pad? Or onto which velocity layer? Obsidian’s Autoload feature can do that if all of the samples have a suffix including note name & number, like C2. Slate would have to have that feature coded into it, and the To Do list is already long, so not likely. Also all the samples you might want to use in Slate would have to have the suffix added to the sample names. Which way will be faster most of the time?

I don’t think so but you don’t have to drag them. Just select the pad and double tap the sample. Not as good as a folder but quicker than dragging.

Good question. The short answer is no.
